Was following up with questions on my blog and it really bugged me that my replies to comments didn’t appear as replies to user comments. They just appeared as a totally new comment down the line.
I enabled nested comments under Settings > Discussion, but it didn’t change anything. I noticed there was nothing in the code to differentiate between first and second level comments.
Finally, with a little more research I was able to find a helpful article on this, which mentioned using the WordPress Thread Comment plugin. I installed the plugin, and it works exactly the way I want it, even on existing comments.
In your WordPress admin area, go to Plugins > Add New and search for WordPress Thread Comment. Install and activate the plugin and make sure that nested comments are enabled under Discussion, and you’re ready to go!
Do you continually struggle with feelings of overwhelm in your business? In a time when there are product launches popping up all the time, amazing videos that move the free line like never before, and all kinds of articles and blogs to read, internet entrepreneurs need focus and direction to stay on track and not be overwhelmed.
I really appreciate the tips that Sterling and Jay from Internet Business Mastery share in their video, “Overcoming the Overwhelm”:
Hope these five tips are helpful to you. There is so much more to life and your business than to always be in the pit of overload and overwhelm.
Are you just getting started with your first website or marketing your product or service online? Maybe you’re feeling overwhelmed and don’t know if it will ever work out. Or perhaps you’re suffering from information overload.
I’d like to encourage you. The hardest dollar you will make online is your first dollar. Once you’ve made one dollar, you can go out and make another dollar. Build on top of the foundation you’ve laid.
So basically the formula is pretty simple: Keep doing what works. Be consistent. Be persistent. Duplicate and build on existing success until you’ve reached the goals you set out to attain.
The sky is the limit.
